Britta is a beige female , and the fifth cria born to our Bay Black foundation girl Mariposa. Britta was born on May 23rd and weighed in at 17.6 pounds. She was all motion from the minute she hit the ground. She was sternal immediately, standing in 45 minutes and nursing in a little over an hour. Posey is a great mom and her milk is rich and abundant.
Posey continues to give us great crias, both male and female. Britta's half sister Godiva is a blue ribbon winner and was sold at 2 months of age. Both of her male crias were sold and are working herdsires.
Britta ribboned at her first two shows of the 2008 show season.
Britta placed second behind the Reserve Color Champion at MAPACA, which was the biggest show ever with almost 1700 animals entered.
