Thinking about raising alpacas, but your barn and fencing are still in the planning stages or not yet completed.........Board with us.
Spring Pond Farm offers free board for 6 months on any alpacas that are purchased from us. Your alpacas will graze on lush pasture and receive all the love, care and attention that our alpacas are used to. Our post and beam barn has mats and a cement area that we hose down on hot days for their comfort along with the fans. There is an outside covered area so they can cush in the shade and still be outdoors. Our outdoor paddock area is kept free of snow in the winter so they can always get outside if they choose.
Agisting fees are $2.50/day after six months and owners receive monthly medical records on all of their animals. This fee includes board,feed,monthly shots,weights as needed, toe nail clipping,and any other routine care. Pregnant females are monitored closely and after giving birth, accurate detailed birthing records are provided. IGG's are done on crias at 24hours and they are weighed daily for 2-3 weeks.
