Kilblaan Farm Calypso
Calypso is a beige female with a brown spot on the back of her neck.
She is one of our top fiber producers, and an excellent mom.
Her first cria, Spring Pond Farm Sundance took a color championship at her first show, and has ribboned in every show she was entered in 2005 and 2006.
Calypso was bred to 6Peruvian Accoyo Powerball and produced a white male, Patriot.
Patriot ribboned in every show he was entered in 2006 and is now co-owned with Springbrook Farm.
Calypso was then bred to Accoyo Plantel, and in August 2006 she gave birth to a beautiful white female Angel.
Angel was sold at a few months of age and ribboned in every show she was entered.
Calypso was bred to our white herdsire Legacy's Legend and gave birth to a a white male Quasar.
Quasar is owned by Grass Hill Alpacas, LLC
Calypso is currently open and offered for sale,with a free breeding.
She has been an excellent foundation female for us and would make a great addition to any herd.

All alpacas are sold with full reproductive guarantees, including 30 day live birth guarantees for breeding females.
Boarding
Up to 6 months free board for each alpaca purchased. Agisting available as space permits.

History of Alpaca Fiber
Only Incan royalty were once able to wear such luxurious fiber. Alpacas produce approximately five to ten pounds of fleece per year.

What do I do with all the fleece
Fleece can be sold as raw, roving, yarn, or finished product. Sometimes local hand spinners want to buy raw fleece or roving to make their own products.
